Capturing and organizing tasks
How to get work into Zovik fast, and how much structure is worth adding.

Capturing work
Use Quick Add (or press the shortcut) to add a task with just a title. Add notes, a due date, priority, category, estimated effort, and energy when they help — all optional.
Breaking tasks down
For anything large, use AI breakdown: describe the outcome and Zovik proposes concrete subtasks you can edit, keep, or discard. Big work stops feeling impossible when it's a checklist.
Categories and tags
Group work with unlimited categories (by client, project, or area). Categories power the analytics breakdown later — but they're never required.
Tip
Estimated effort and energy are the two fields most worth adding — they let Zovik match tasks to the time and energy you actually have.
